Surfing WA

Surfing WA is the official state surfing body for Western Australia, based in Trigg, and operates a Learn To Surf surf school along with a SurfGroms children's program. Beyond direct instruction, it manages event and competition administration, rankings, and coaching, judging and officiating education, and runs a range of programs including Beyond Waves, Surfers Rescue 365, Swellness Activities, Think Mental Health, a SunSmart safety program, #NoTxtNoWrecks road safety awareness, the WA Junior Development Program, and the Talent UNLSHD Female Surfing Program. It offers membership, boardrider club support, a surf school directory, insurance services, and board hire, and hosts events including the Margaret River Pro (a World Surf League event), the Lavan Whalebone Classic, WA School Surf Titles, the Sunshine Surf Masters, and national championships. Surfing WA operates statewide across Western Australia with regional partnerships in Geraldton, Margaret River, Mandurah and Busselton, and is part of the Surfing Australia network.
