Offshore Surf Co Narooma

Offshore states it was established in 1992, originating as "Mad Gear" in Broulee before relocating and becoming Offshore; David Penkethman took over the business in the mid-1990s, and Brett and Ned took over in 2019. In July 2022 the business acquired Narooma Surf n Skate and rebranded it as Offshore Narooma, giving it stores in Broulee, Moruya, and Narooma. It specialises in surf hardware for beginners through professionals, selling surfboards, wetsuits, swimwear, apparel, footwear, eyewear, watches, skate gear, and bodyboards, and offering surfboard and stand up paddle board hire, trade-ins, and demo models. Brands stocked include Rip Curl, Billabong, Quiksilver, Vans, Hurley, Thrills, Afends, Vissla, Creatures of Leisure, Ocean and Earth, and FCS, and co-owner Ned delivers Saturday morning surf reports on ABC Radio.
