Cross Design, established in 2020 at 2/14 Nuban St, Currumbin Waters, is a family-owned surfboard factory offering custom handcrafted surfboards alongside professional fiberglass repairs and restorations, including composite repair work for surfboards, boats, jet skis and marine rescue equipment. Board models include the Icon, Fish, Duo, Asym, Hendrix, Clapton, Rose, Mid and Nude/Longboard, built with options such as carbon weave or carbon fibre construction, customisable colours and inlays. The business also sells apparel and accessories including caps, tote bags and t-shirts. Its founder has an architectural design background, and the company operates on a direct-to-client model with no middlemen. Hours are Monday-Friday 9am-4:30pm and Saturday 9am-12pm.
