Melbourne Surfboard Shop, established in 1999, offers surfboard repairs from its store at 307a Victoria Rd, Thornbury, Victoria, open Sunday 12-4pm, Monday-Friday 10am-6pm, and Saturday 10am-5pm, plus a repairs vending machine at 38 Hall St, Newport, Victoria. Repairs cover dings, dents, delamination, nose and tail repairs, snaps, fin box repairs and upgrades, restorations, colour matching, pigment fills, pin lines, and gloss polish finishes, using polyester resin, epoxy resin, soft fabrics, plastics, and carbon rails/inlays (with a $30 surcharge for epoxy surfcraft). It repairs surfboards, SUPs, surf-skis, kiteboards, kneeboards, nipper boards, kayaks, wakeboards, snowboards, water-skis, and canoes, servicing FCS, FCS II, Futures, single fin, and glass-on fin box systems, and also sells custom surfboards, demo board rentals, consignment boards, and DIY repair kits.
