Golden Breed has been Australian owned since 1969 and operates a store at 10 Lawson Street, Byron Bay NSW 2481, one of five Golden Breed stores in Australia plus one in Bali. The Byron Bay store sells retro surf clothing for men, women and kids -- tees, shirts, hoodies, jackets, shorts, boardshorts and swimwear -- along with surfboards, board hire, and accessories such as towels, wax, rash vests, caps, bags, socks and stubby holders. Brands carried include the in-house Golden Breed label, Gordon & Smith (G&S) surfboards, Lazy Beach swimwear, Sunnylife and Archie Thongs. The store is open Monday to Saturday 9:00am-5:30pm and Sunday 9:00am-4:00pm, with extended hours over summer and school holidays, and offers free shipping on orders over $120.
